Blackboard stores all of your course files (including Course Documents, e-reserves, syllabus, etc.) in one spot, making it easy to download a folder with these documents. Follow the steps below in order to save the documents from your Blackboard courses.
1. Enter your Blackboard course by logging into blackboard.ptsem.edu and finding the course name under either the "My Institution" or "Courses" tab.
2. Scroll down to find "Course Management" on the left and click on the dropdown for "Content Collection."
3. Click on the course ID for your course. It will look something like OT2101-FA16, depending on the course code, semester, and year for your course.
4. Select the box next to "File Type" to select all documents in your course or individually select the boxes of the files you want to download. Note: If you have a lot of files in your course, you will need to scroll down and click "Show All" in order to select and download all files together.
5. Once the boxes have been checked, click "Download Package."
6. Save the .zip folder to your computer. When you open it, you will see your files.
Note: This download process does not work for student submissions. In order to download students' papers from Blackboard, you should follow these instructions.
